So I was IBS-D, now have changed. What are your symptoms and how do you control them?
I seem to be nauseous most days, and have intermittent cramps. Buscopan isn't always working. Take Mebeverine which the doctor has just increased the dose of, which was helping the C at least. Laxatives prescribed, but not needed to use them.
It's more the nausea and cramps I'm having trouble controlling, which may start up after eating. Any ideas please?

Hi mithical, I too was prescribed mebeverine, it seemed to work for a while then didn’t. I have IBS D and C sometimes both. I have since been back to my doctors who ordered more blood tests to see if I was lactose intolerant, and to see if I had Crohns. All came back clear, now he is on about me having a colonoscopy as a last resort which I am ( pardon the pun) shitting myself about. But please please give the mebeverine a try it may work for you. Hope this helps ?
All the best

I have nausea also nearly every day with it and I am a very bad emetophobeic too xx
I too switched from D/C to straight C. I take hyoscamine, also know as Levbid, very occasionally. It's a prescription. Mostly, I just make sure to bulk up my stool - probiotics, methylcellulose, stool softener, Miralax (occasionally).
