Does anyone suffer from BAM? I have been suffering with terrible diarrhoea since April and bad stomach pain in the lower left beside belly button, within an hour of eating a meal I am rushing to the toilet and my stool is very very loose and orange in colour. I wondered if it might be BAM ?

Yes I’ve been diagnosed. Was told for years it was IBS but I didn’t think it was and got so ill a different doctor referred me. The only formal way of diagnosis is a sehcat scan which a gastro consultant will do. There are so many gut and bowel issues, a lot of GPs don’t know about it. Ask for a referral. Also look at bad-uk.org which is a great website.
