Got it in one!
Hi I’ve had SIBO you must get tested they say that nearly everyone who suffers with ibs may have SIBO x
Did you have to pay for sibo test my gp practice won’t fund it does it make any difference to your treatment or your condition
I had to go to a private doctor gastroenterologist in London cost me a fortune and had antibiotics had 2 lots one course the gp paid and the second course I had to pay 300 pound for and still no improvement. I’ve been sick every day for 2 years nearly.
I’m still suffering though had antibiotics but no better. Waiting to speak to gastroenterologist in October terrible. Amber x
It's a myth. That's why it's not working. See link.

Hello I’m still sick I done another SIBO with the nhs and come back negative this time. Yes I don’t trust it .
Well I had a private SIBO test which came up positive for SIBO and I had the antibiotics and no improvement at all . I’m just waiting to speak to him on the nhs but they keep changing the dates I’ve got an appointment for October that’s why I’m so upset no one should suffer every day for 2 years nearly. Amber x
There are not many that have true SIBO, again I believe this diagnosis to be a gimik to make people believe there is a name for something potentially causing their symptoms. Yes people get sick and have awful gut problems but you have to fight and advocate for yourself. Sadly doctors can only give a diagnosis based on what they see, feel or what the test results tell them, a lot of progress is down to the person themselves.
Research is key, not one thing suits all, we're individuals in every sense. 80% of the time you need to figure stuff out on your own and the old cliché come to mind "Rome wasn't built in a day".
