Hi I keep getting pain in my right side it’s above my hip bone and below the ribs , sometimes it feels like it’s burning ache , sometimes just a pain. Could this be gall stones? Or gall bladder pain? Sometimes feels like it’s going round my back too, I’ve had blood tests all come back normal. Any help or ideas before I call my dr again

Pain in my right side between above the hip bone and below ribs
Hi, might be gallbladder, might be Hepatic Flexure Syndrome. Check out Hepatic Flexure Syndrome. Plenty of IBS folks complain with pain in this area.
I have pain there too alot! gastroenterologist suggested it might be a "sticky illiocecal valve' can't remember details but it helps with managing the flow of digestive fluids. You can help it by massage and there are pictures on the internet that show you, maybe you could see if that helps 🤞
I mentioned the 'sticky valve' too during my last appointment with the gastroenterologist (I think he has been a gastroenterologist for 30 years now) but he doesn't 'believe' in it however I've read that the valve can be compromised. Maybe he meant that the valve is not the cause but the underlying 'disease' (SIBO?) has compromised the valve.
Try KISS. Have you had a fall within the past two years?
