Lower right pain below the abdomen and above t... - IBS Network
Lower right pain below the abdomen and above the thigh.
Could be hip impingement or disc problems
Possibly arthritis, see GP for free xray at local hospital. Different kinds of arthritis occur at different ages.
Sounds like a disc problem, which is very common (most common cause of back problems). Exercise (back strengthening), can make a big difference especially in early stages of the problem.
Groin strain psoas ligament, sciatic nerve.....all possibles...quick relief is to lay face down on the floor or bed and try to raise the upper body using your arms but keep the hips touching the floor/bed...gentle stretching will ease any impringement.....if it the psoas ligment...then its lay on back with affected leg over side of bed and try try gentle raise and lower it...(there are other helpful exercises)look up dr eric berg youtube...who walks/talks you through the various exercise to free up strengthen these groups of possible muscles/ligament issues.Use heat from water bottle and rest in between activity.
You probably have the answer now, as you posted a year ago, but I would have said it could be appendicitis. Had to have mine out years ago. Brushed it off as tummy ache for three days, by the time they got it out, it had ruptured and gone gangrene. I had localised pain in my lower right side if I lifted my right leg. Did you find out what it was?
Hope you’re better now anyway.
