Types of IBS

Hi,

Might be a weird question but how do you know what type of IBS you have?

If you have diarrhea You know you have IBSd. If you are constipated you have IBSc. You can also go from one to the other and this is mixed IBS. In my experience, however, you can also have reasonably normal BMs, but have bloating, cramps, pain or gas and it would still be IBS.
