Hi, for the last 2 weeks my stomach issues have re-emerged: excessive wind (belching & flatulence), lots of gurgling in stomach, diarrhoea, gnawing pain around lower ribs, intestinal aches&cramps, and generally feeling wiped out. Have been gluten free for years due to being moderately intolerant, and more recently lactose free. Last gastrostomy 2 years ago showed mild gastritis, and confirmed im not celiac but was given antibiotics anyway which calmed things down . Could it be a returning H.pylori infection? Could my hypothyroidism be contributing to my stomach issues? Should I go to the docs?
Cheers

Yes, you might want to see your gastroenterologist. Having recently been diagnosed with SIBO, that is on my mind. You might check for that as well.
If you have had any gut infection in the past your more likely to to develop post infection ibs You can get various lateral flow kits from. Homeheath uk. Google them. In the professional tests. H pylori, calprotectin. Would be a good start
