SIBO diagnosed

Hello I’m just updating you after a while we’ll I’ve been suffering for 12 months and had to go to a private doctor and pay a fortune and I’ve been diagnosed with SIBO after all this time and my own doctors didn’t find it. Sorry I’m so angry I feel like I’m dying every day with these awful symptoms, has anyone gone through this . Thanks Amber x

I have also been diagnosed with SIBO. I am seeing a dietician right now and hoping that will help. I don't know. My symptoms: constant bloating, some nausea, little appetite, "sticky" bowel movements, a lot of burping and gas and some weight loss. Can you let me know what your symptoms are? I took Xifaxan for 2 weeks, but now, after 2 months, seems to be returning. Discouraging. I understand why you are angry and sorry you had to suffer so long.

My symptoms are nausea pain I’m upper stomach weight loss no appetite no energy x

I had this lost weight coudnt eat , the pain and swelling was awful had 2 week antibiotics an it went thank god my gut was eating me alive ! X

Hi sorry to butt in but I have had similar stuff going on , severe bloating and hard stomach and weight loss no appetite and heart palpitations any ideas ?

Hi Tyson every time I ate my stomach would start bloating and causing pain I had constant bad smelling wind and lost a fair bit of weight it’s just the bacteria that have moved into small intestine where it should not be , doctors find it hard to tell if it’s ibs or sibo go and ask your doc antibiotics will kill it off x

Yeah I had a stool test last year but it came back ok

But since feb it’s back again just no appetite and horrible palps with it .. did u get palps as not sure if the bloating is pressing on sumthing ? Do I need a stool sample again ? Drs just offered me Omeprazole

Get another stool test I didn’t have palpitations when I had sibo but I’ve had them for past 6 months dunno if it’s related to gut problems x

It also could be things like gastritis , h pylor infection , gallbladder problems , as gallbladder can cause bloating , nausea upper right pain and gas , I have gallstones too 🙁x

I don’t feel sick but just bloated and lots of gurgling then the palps . Anxiety doesn’t help either plus been bleeding for ages bloody peri I think x
