GERD and Pressure in rectum.

I have been suffering from GERD since 2 years now. There were times i had this gnawing feeling in my middle upper abdomen with a slight pain continuous two nights, but then it disappeared. I still have the feeling of something stuck in my throat.

A few days before i have had diarrhea and i tried my best with home remedies but it didn't get well. The diarrhea was for 3-4 days and now suddenly i started feeling this pressure in my rectum, it's like an urge to poop whenever i sit down and won't go away. I pooped three or more times a day and sometimes it comes out along with mucus. I am scared.

I do not feel fever or vomiting and nor do i have the pains anymore.

What could this be?

It could be the aftermath of a stomach virus. Mucus, as long as there is no blood is not usually serious. If this continues, however, I would see a gastroenterologist.
