Can anyone recommend a good probiotic. I was recommended BioKult by my homeopath and have been taking them for a week now, with some limited success. I was wondering if any one has had success with them or any others which may work better. I have seen Hey Nutrition probiotic good reviews. Would be grateful for advise for bloating and stomach pain.

Good Probiotic
Nothing beats natural probiotics like greek or natural yogurts. I prefer Kefir. Kefir or kephir, is a fermented milk drink similar to a thin yogurt or ayran that is made from kefir grains, a specific type of mesophilic symbiotic culture. Pill form of probiotics I believe don't work near as well. The pill form is dried cultures that activate when swallowed, but I believe not enough of the cultures survive or activate. Not near as good for the cost comparison. The yogurts and kefir are always live when taken. Take note as well that to rebuild the proper culture balance in your gut, it may take several months. The good cultures need to regain control of your gut over the bad bacterias. Be sure to drink or eat yogurt or Kefir a few times daily. I hope this helps you and best of luck 👍
I have been taking Alflorex probiotic which has been scientifically studied for IBS and it has changed my life. I am more tolerant to different foods now. I have tried others over the years but Alflorex has worked best for me.
I have found Alflorex to be the most helpful. It’s expensive, but by far the best one I’ve used. I’ve been able to add back some foods that I really couldn’t tolerate before taking it.
I have IBS D but I would think that it will be beneficial for any type of intestinal problem as it’s to build up the good bacteria which help digestion.
