Can I just ask how is that related to diverticulitis? I have multi diverticula but wonder in what way it manifests itself. Tks

I’m no expert but I do have diverticulitis and wind is a big problem. I’m on movicol Sometimes as I tend to get constipated and I’ve been told it’s a bad thing to be constipated for more than a few days as blockages occur with me. I prefer to let nature take its course, but I’ve just had a colonoscopy and the diverticulitis has got worse . I’m not sure if the wind is the diverticulitis or the movicol thoughI’m not sure I’d like to be taking it twice a day I’d go see the doctor and get checked out

Sounds to me like the movicol is too severe. Try stool softeners instead for a while. They work for my ibs c
