Hi everyone, I wrote my first post a few weeks ago telling about this awful burning pain under my left rib.I assumed gastritis or an ulcer yet the endoscopy hasn’t picked up on anything apart from a polyp. The doctor said this wasn’t serious but seemed to think it was caused by omeprazole. So now I am pretty baffled as to what is going on in there! However I have suffered with extremely bad wind pain since the procedure on Friday.I coped really well with the camera going down but having all that air pumped into you is horrible especially when you have ibs!So in an attempt to try help myself I have ordered alflorex.A lot of you have recommended this so I’m going to try it.Question is,should I expect to have any unpleasant side effects?🙄 Really appreciate advice on this product and if it has helped with your symptoms of ibs?
Thank you.

I have taken Alflorex for almost a year now and there were no side effects atall. It has stopped all my bloating and discomfort after eating- great product
I had no side effects at all from Alflorex. I am still taking it now. I have had a few different probiotics over the years and this one has been a game changer for me. It took 1 week for my pain to almost disappear. In some people, it can take 2-3 months to help and there may be initial side effects, but it is worth persevering. Precision Biotics, the supplier have a help line and email address (ask@precisionbiotics.com) in case you run into trouble or have any queries.
I haven’t had any unpleasant side effects, just a big reduction in the amount of wind and abdominal pain. This wasn’t instant though, I probably took them for about 2 weeks before I noticed the difference.
