I was told by my Dr to take laxative with my trulance cause I have ibd/ibs real bad and i can go 2 weeks without going so I did and all day today I've been having yellowish/brown diarrhea, cramping and pain in my stomach.. anyone know what is going on or has it happened to anyone else

Hi TinaD40, I suspect it's the laxities that have caused the change and loose stools. Anything like that can alter your gut biome som that's what could he going on ? X

Hello! I suspect that is from the laxative. When your bowels and colon are constantly evacuating the stool is usually yellow/brown. Sometimes when it looks like that it means almost everything is out of your system. I can’t take laxatives I have a terrible reaction to them (like 18 hours of non stop in the bathroom) so I take Colaze it’s a gentle stool softener that my GI doctor recommended to me because it’s easy feeling but effective.
