I have not been on here very long, but through my own experiences and through reading posts on here countless of them i have started to see a very sognificant trend......IBS has very limited knowledge medically! Doctors use a rule out everything then there must only be 1 option left approach as there isnt an actual test or 100% its IBS! Symptom wise theres like a million different ones with each individual experiencing them differently....but if you actually look at symptoms on nhs or other medicql sites it lists like 5/6 at a push....so because you have not seen your symptom on a medical certified website im words to put your mind at ease....you mind runs off into the distance with this im going to die tomoro mentality and your health anxiety hits the roof...in turn causing stress anxiety and therefore amplifying your symtoms!its a vicious circle in which the medical profession dont seem to care much aboutas they could help us out by updating said symptoms including some of the main ones commonly reported past the first 5 of cramps diarrea constipation ones and let us read it from somewhete official and allow our health anxiety to take a deep sigh of relief deep breath sit back and watch the symptoms ease a little and start to actually enjoy the moment right here right now appreciate it instead of thinking...am i going to die soon and have that mindset forever...because high probability...no your not...you may you may not...so enjoy it while you can and dnt lock yourself away inside you mind behind the steel bars of health anxiety.

I have wished for years for doctors to help me more but they can not and will not. However, it is better that way than having something that requires surgery etc. So, we have to learn to live and mitigate. This year more than any other is about trying to find positives and those of us with IBS are pretty good at that...
