Paracetamol causes diarrhoea?!

Hi everyone, I have had IBS for 20 years and am fairly keyed up about it. I find that naturally I don’t react well to anti-inflammatory pain relief (such as ibuprofen) when unwell with other things, but I can’t seem to tolerate paracetamol either. It always triggers watery diarrhoea. I seem to be the only person I know who experiences this and can’t find any literature that suggests this may ever be a side effect of paracetamol. Even if I take half of one dose, it makes my bowel bad. Has anyone else ever found this? And if so, what pain relief for normal things like headaches or muscle pain etc do you find you can take?

I find that paracetamol is about the only thing that doesn't have an effect on my IBS! It's not that good at helping with the pain either but it's better than nothing I suppose.

Cannabis oil? Not tried myself but numerous reports of be edit without side effects. And we believe it's definitely helped with pain for our 15.5yr old dog who has had 2 cruciate ligament ops.
