Gastritis? Need advice.

was diagnosed with gastritis a few years ago and it was just below my sternum like a gnawing pain.

The past week I've had pain just above my navel on the right side. The pain started as sharp, sometimes it feels like a cramp or a burning and it comes and goes. Today day 7, the pain is radiating to my lower ribs and also towards my belly button and just below. Also seem to get the pain if I wear a tight waistband and random bouts of nausea. Anyone else get the above with gastritis?

My other symptoms include chronic indigestion, nausea, tenderness when I press on the area and also my stools smell very acidic. Sorry TMI

Does anyone else get right sided pain near or around their belly button with their gastritis?

Ive had an ultrasound so all my organs are ok. I'm just feeling really frustrated, stressed and upset.

I have both gastritis and IBS so it's very difficult for me to tell what is caused by which but I do have, at different times, all the symptoms you're listing.

I found that the medication for gastritis made my IBS worse so I control the symptoms with a low acid diet. There's loads of information online about it if you're interested to try it.

I get how you feel as well. It's just so frustrating and I often feel really resentful and angry too. If it's really getting you down it might be worth seaking some support xx
