Feeling hopeless...

So I arrived at my boyfriends a couple of hours ago, went to the loo, and became very ill very quickly. Bad stomach pain, stomach cramps, loose motions, alot. I started feeling very hot and anxious. I've taken Imodium to calm it down but I feel so so hopeless. I was just crying for an hour because I don't know what to do..

I woke up this morning with sharp stabbing pains in my low left side which I could barely move from, this has happened a couple of times in the past, but not for a while now..

I'm starting to go gluten free as I have cut out lactose in the past for a good 8-10 weeks and that didn't help 😣

Xx

Oh gosh sound like you're suffering as much as I am! Maybe a food intolerance for you with the left sided pain? That's what I have at the mo too! Xx hoping the immodium settles things for you. I have my nephew here at the moment as soon as he's gone I'm going upstairs for a damn good cry! Xx

I think it could be a food intolerance, wheat seems to be a problem for ibs people and high lactose x

Have you spoken to your gp? I had something similar a couple of times where the pain was unbearable and went to a&e i had a stomache infection, had iv fluids, paracetamol and antibiotics and that seemed to help. Hope you feel better.

I have a telephone appointment with my GP tomorrow. I'm going to write down what I want to discuss with her and hopefully that will help..

I know exactly what you mean! There’s so many different things that could be affecting your stomach, but it’s so hard to find what it really is. I think mine is just sugar along with some other artificial sugars. I’ve continued to have some gluten, but I also get some gluten free things just to try and make sure I’m not having too much. I had ham, cheese, and potato casserole last night and I woke up in a lot of pain this morning and have been on and off the toilet, so I think I might have to cut Dairy out too :// I understand your pain tho, it absolutely sucks not really knowing what you can eat on any given day.
