So guys after quite a while with internal hemorrhoids which I managed to get rid of a couple of weeks ago, I have adopted a new diet with lots more fluid, fibre and vegetables in an attempt to lose some weight gained over covid.
This has led to me over the last 36 hours having diarrhoea after some homemade tomatoe soup (3kg of tomatoe) which I can presume has not agreed with me is running through me 🙈 coupled together with protein shakes this is perhaps just too much too soon
Could this bout of diarrhoea lead to a flare up of internal hemorrhoids? Jsut when I'm wiping there is again some blood which I'm putting down to sitting on the toilet multiple times a day the last few days and pooping lots?
Any tips of easing my situation as well? Currently eating just plain toast some banana
All I can suggest from personal experience is that I have confirmed IBS d and I had hemorrhoids only external. The advise I was given is too eat a plain diet pots, rice etc etc until it settles the tum, don't stay sitting on the loo or strain. Tomatoes have a habit of going through me and my hubby who has no confirmed tum troubles at all. Off course if it continues for longer than a week a phone consultation with your GP is in order. Hope you feel better soon🙏
I'm doing exactly the same as you lve changed to clean eating. The same would happen to me when l keep pooping l wouldn't worry just use yr pile treatment until it eases up. Bloody ibs gets on ya wick
