Do any of you ladies find you are worse when it's building up to your period and during it? I'm find lately I'm having more bouts of the dreaded d* before/during and occasionally after my period and it's really getting me down

Yup. It is exceptionally bad for me. I usually try to avoid snacking on junk foods, high fat, sugar and salt which make its worse. Staying hydrated is key and use an iron supplement for that blood loss.
Oh yes used to be in quite a state for the 1st 24 hours😞-us ladies were made with all our bits in the same area so that adds to the problem. I got a med from my GP that targets the period cramps and that helped.
100%. Always worse. I also find a big an increase bloating regardless of what food I have eaten and also a huge increase in wind, which smells horrific. Luckily my other half sees the funny side!
Yer, me too... Its a frigging nightmare, nothing seems to help and whoever said gentle exercise helps relieve it was clearly a bloke who knows nowt about being doubled up in agony 😠 😂
