Hope everyone is staying safe and keeping well I have had IBS for a while now but I have been working away from home for the last 10 months so my diet has been pretty rubbish cereal for breakfast toast for lunch and toast for tea and crisps in between terrible really but being a bloke working long hours and having IBS is difficult to know what to eat I was furloughed a couple of weeks ago and since I have been home been eating chicken, fruit, vegetables, jacket potatoes but since I have starting eating better I feel worse I always feel hungry nauseous and bloated is this my body adjusting or have I done some damage eating crap for the last year maybe gastritis or an ulcer, any advice would be great as the doctors is a last resort at the moment

Your body is not used to this much goodness in it, it's called junk food withdrawal - it will pass 😊 hope you feel better soon and keep up the healthy eating! 🙌 eat more complex carbs to stay full (rice, potato, corn) and possibly snack between meals with fruit/crackers to keep you going :)

Suggest your tum has to get used to you eating more and expand again. Stick to it but perhaps smaller portions or little and often until your back to normal. If in doubt a phone consultation with your GP may be in order.
