Hi, I have never taken gaviscon but that is because I am sure it would do exactly that. I don't take anything for indigestion, I'm too scared to!
Always used Milk of magnesia which is similar and YES!
Yes gaviscon has something in it that does affect ibs try another have thrown out my gaviscon I use mylanta or zantac
