Hello a long term sufferer from IBS-d with associated anxiety due to my IBS. On Medication to give me some normality.

Hi welcome have you been referred to a low fodmap dietition? Also, if the anxiety is really bad, theres antidepressants that can help with IBS related anxiety, are you taking anything for it?

Yes taking anti depressant and have seen dietician, who asked to reduce food groups associated with my IBS-d. I still get bad days with running to the bathroom

Okay, if low fodmap diet hasn't helped you within that strict 6 weeks, then might be worth asking about BAM (bile acid diarrhoea) normally people without gallbladder tend to get it, but theres a lot of cases where people with their gallbladder get this condition - might be worth getting tested for that to rule it out? I think a gastro Dr does it for you
