Hi there

I'm still trying to get my head around all this. I know everyone is different with ibs symptoms but I'd like to know if there is anyone at all that has no D or C but still has lots of bm, stomach pain, mucus, cramps, bubbly wind and days of just feeling very tired and generally unwell. I've had this for 4 months now since having an epigastric hernia operation. It certainly takes over your life!

The symptoms you mention, certainly, are compatible with IBS, but until you have had various, numerous tests to rule out any other causes, it cannot be determined to be IBS.

Thank you kindly again for your prompt reply 😁. I've had numerous tests all negative except a low corsitol one but then had the synacthen test and it came bk ok, which is good but frustrating! I have gall stones but apparently all tucked away nicely, not causing hassle. And I have virtigo, which started a few weeks after first symptoms! Plus intermitting bleeding from vj! Because so much is going on at the same time my 2 consultants plus my own gp are all flummoxed (their words). It's all rather confusing to say the least haha just to add, I'm a very laid back person with no stress or anxiety so that can't be the cause. I think it was my first op wreaking havoc on my system but it's not getting any better 😒sorry to go on...

It really could just be your body saying "Oy, I didn't like that operation you just gave me, now leave me alone!"
