Diarrhoea once a week

Has anyone had very regular diarrhoea only once per week? For the last 3 weeks Ive had it every Friday morning. It’s so strange! The pain and cramping vary. I thought it was coffee triggering it but I’ve not had a cup for a week and it’s come on again but not as bad today. I have some lactose intolerance but I don’t think my dairy intake has increased lately.

I have not been diagnosed with IBS. But sometimes have mild constipation. I had my gallbladder removed at 30 and I’m 45 now.

I’m thinking I should go back to drinking kefir again. Thoughts?

I guess first thing to check is what you are eating on the Thursday evenings? Anything common to both Thursdays, which also differs from what you ate the rest of the week? If so, try cutting it out and see if it helps.

All the best, Angus
