Help how to help diarrhoea
Speak to your GP re the spasms and he/she will be able to give you something to ease the cramps(in my case Mebeverine 200 mg time release caps). Gastro said to me Imodium can be taken long term.
That said how were you diagnosed as having IBS??
I've has prolonged bouts of indigestion and diarrhea all my life. I'm now in my 70s. I was diagnosed with ibs. Sounds like bad news but I've founds ways to manage it. I use lopermide when needed. Up to 8 a day is safe but I rarely take that many and gaviscon for indigestion as needed. Doctor prescribed omprazole which I use occasionally it's good but side effects can be of concern. Anxiety can trigger my ibs but it doesn't prevent me from living a full and active life. I can't prevent or cure ibs but I can manage it. Good luck
Hey hun, I really feel you on that one! I recently found this gel called Enterosgel and I asked around on here, the reviews seemed to be promising and very positive. I only started it a few days ago and it has been life changing! I am really hoping the effect will stay and will keep people updated on what's happening! I suggest you try it as it can be the miracle you are looking for!! xx
