I was put on LDN for Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis, And noticed remission in my IBS-C. Wondering if anyone else has taken this medication and can help make this correlation?

Has anyone been told IBS is an autoimmune disorder?

My rosacea had cleared also

TIA

I understand IBD is an autoimmune disorder, but I didn't know IBS was, as well.

Hi, i suffer from sibo where symptoms are v similar to ibs. Indeed some studies have shown that up to 80 ish % of ibs cases are actually sibo which is or can be an autoimmune issue esp if it leads to leaky gut. A lot of sibo people take this as it reduces the symptoms by increasing motility of the small intestine and therefore clearing out bacteria. Worth a thought that perhaps this is what you have. If you google it there are various websites that discuss testing, treatment etc but in any case it is great to hear that this works for you!
