Wheat - ibs C

I know that the gluten is known to be a huge problem for ibs. I did try traditionally made white sourdough to see if I react to it and sadly I did. Want to know if anyone with ibs C seems to be okay eating a slice of whole wheat bread a day ?

I don't know about this one but I cut out gluten to help with the gas and bloating and it made a HUGE difference to the cramps etc! I just eat gluten free alternatives now which seem to be fine! Xx

I can eat bread but not pasta.

I had to cut out bread, pasta and all grains. I now make my own carb free bread made from just 4 ingredients and while it does seem to suit me I cannot eat it everyday. I have it at most 3 times a week as a treat because I really do miss bread but it's not worth the pain.
