IBS and periods

Hi everyone. Writing after long. Mostly keeping well. This question is for my ladies out there. Some suggestions for dealing with your IBS during periods when you have pcos . What to do when you are having gas and bm. Can the ladies offer any useful tips. Also would love suggestions on what foods to eat.

Peppermint tea, lemon grass tea as well as ginger are quite good for cramps . Stay hydrated...water helps calm the pain....avoid dairy, processed foods, sweets even chocolate....

Get lots of rest, you can use a warm bottle to help with the cramping..

Fruits (Limited), veg and protein, potatoes, not too much whole grain as these can cause gas....

Thanks Kim. Will surely try your suggestions. Peppermint tea is a staple in my house. So that’s definitely always on my list.
