Just copied and pasted this from the Holland & Barrett website:

'Activated charcoal capsules are a natural remedy to a bloated stomach and excess wind which can be uncomfortable and a little embarrassing at times especially after eating. They work by absorbing excess gas from within your gut to relieve flatulence and feelings of fullness.'

(Sounds like you may have IBS-D in which case suggest if ordering from them get hold of some Golden Linseed at the same time (Soluble fibre)).

Would love to know if this helps. My gastro does not approve using them so been taking simethicone which is not helping!

Could you be lactose intolerant? I have you tried cutting out milk and dairy products or having a test for this? You have to keep having milk bawd stuff up and including to when you have the test. Doctor can do this test.

Also the following are well known to cause wind beans cabbage lentils and cauliflower and broccoli. Do you eat a lot of these?

A York test - see google - May be useful if not to see what shows up as foodintolerances.
