Has anybody had starr surgery on bowel? Would love some feedback on recovery and if it is worth it. Thanks in advance. ALEXA

I haven’t but am intrigued. Can they do this to rid you off redundant colon loops on both colons? Also diverticula disease scattered across both colons? I wish you well with getting some proper replies on this. X

I'm not sure on what this procedure can do, I'm having the procedure beginning of April and will right a reply about how it went etc. I. Hoping I recive e more info before then.

Hi - have you read up about this op on the internet? This uses staples rather than conventional stitching. Guess there are other procedures you can ask about for this op.

If you have a metal allergy this might be something you should test for before an op.

I did read up on the operation, fortunately not metal allergies. I made the mistake of watching the op and have had anixoty about it since. But I get reminded by my body daily that this needs to be done. Hoping that having it done and not putting it off will mean I will heal better at a younger age. Will keep updating my post.
