I’ve been battling with IBS for several years now but nausea first thing in the morning seems to be coming more common for me. At the same time I also feel very hungry. Is this a usual symptom for others? I am a 29 yr old female and not pregnant. (Just to clarify)
Thank you

I’m a 27 yr old female and I have the exact same issue, always feel like I’m gunna vomit in the morning until about 11, doc has given me different kids of antacids like nexium and somac but they don’t seem to help.
I’d love to see if anyone has this also and has a cure for it!
Hey there. I feel like that in the mornings. I take Nexium as soon as I wake up, which does help. But I do get that horrible, gnawing, hungry sick feeling (if that makes sense?). So I try to eat fairly soon after getting up - like within 20 minutes. I also sip on hot water. Helps me - you could try that? Xx
Yes every morning for the last 9 years. I hate it! But ive yet to find the answer. Nothing from the doctor has helped or natural alternatives. I just grin and bear it. Funny thing though it is just as described by everyone and goes about 11am ..... whats that about?
Oh you poor thing ! I’ve had it for about 3 years, and I thought that was bad !! As you say, dipsy 14, it usually goes by 11am, but I’ve no idea what it’s all about ! Does nobody on here have any ideas?
Hey I’m 26 and have been suffering with IBS for 5 years.
In the mornings if I smell meat/fish when walking to the train station I always feel nauseous and sometimes throw up when I get to the office. And need to go to the toilet a lot as I have bad bowel issues in the morning as well.
I’ve been like this for years and taken loads of medication that the doctor has prescribed but I don’t think they do anything for me. The only thing I would say is try not to stress out and eat healthily.
perhaps you could ask your doctor to give you an antiemetic ie: Cyclizine, or motillium, also I take a couple of ginger nut biscuits every morning. And like other people have said Gaviscon or omeprazole can stop gastric reflux. I wish you well
I find taking two Senocalm before bed help me with the morning sick feeling - think it is due to reflux with being laid down at night!! Hope you get sorted soon.
