Erase messages

How do you erase messages that came in that you don't want anymore on this thing ?

Perhaps ? ? But all I'm trying to do is clean up some of the old messages that I've received that I don't need to read anymore ?? But I guess deleting the app and not even bothering with this , because you're not the only one that said delete the app after I ask a simple question on how I can clean up some of the OLD Messages and responses I have gotten that I don't need anymore and just want to clean it up a little bit ?? But saying delete the app perhaps ? WAY TO GO SAYING THAT !! Real helpful site if you , whoever you are ? And at least one other person said the same thing !! When I thought this was supposed to be a helpful site to try to help people and I'm just trying to get a lot of old messages off the table that I don't need anymore ? And really didn't help me at all anyway but are you still wanted to try ? But I guess you talked me into whatever you said about deleting the app ? I'm not into apps I didn't get an app and this is not an app and I just signed up without an app because I refuse to get an app because I don't know nothing about apps and I am sick and I thought this was a helpful site but you just prove to me that it's just a bunch of people complaining about being sick for a week or two and I've been sick for 15 YEARS !!!! I thought that this site could help but I guess since I got more than your response about the leading the whole thing and getting out of it maybe that's what I should do and just forget about getting any help from this site ?

Hi Poopedout, I am sure the people that said delete the app, just didn't know how to delete messages. We are not always au fait with the complexities of this site but we are all very au fait about dealing with IBS. I have had it myself for over 30 years. If you ask a question about IBS, I am sure people will answer you kindly. Anyway back to deleting messages, it looks to me that you go into your messages ie Chat and tick the box against the message you want to delete and then hit the dustbin key at the top of the messages. I assume that will work, but I have not actually done it, so can't be totally sure but can't think what else you could do. I hope this helps. Maureen.

Thanks !! I don't know what I've had for 15 years ? Well I kind of do ? I had a extremely deep Fissure found in 2005 , because nine months prior to the doctor that found the deep Fissure, I was admitted to the hospital for a blood transfusion because I had lost half my blood in the toilet , when I would go to the bathroom there would be blood in the toilet and I didn't not think it was that much ? But my hemoglobin was seven which meant I was half empty on blood !! "9" DOCTORS stood around my emergency bed in the emergency room in a semi circle and asked me all kinds of questions on the color of the blood and other questions ? The color of the blood was the same color as if you would cut your finger ? Which I know now that I didn't know then would mean it was very close to being airborne very close to the outside of my body ? So for the next nine months I saw a gastroenterologist for the first time and he did two colonoscopies which didn't bother me at all and I continue to go to work and eat and go to the bathroom but still bleeding ? Then I saw another doctor and I bent over and in three seconds she said she never saw a deep hole in any wind that deep ever in her life she was mesmerized !!! Anyway they did the surgery and within a month after the surgery I was hospitalized with diverticulitis and from that point on I struggled at work for 10 years until I couldn't go to work anymore past June 2014 , have a Lotta pain and they put me on pain medicine and actually the pain medicine makes me go to the bathroom ?? I know it's odd and it should constipate me as it did when I had knee surgery and I could not take them and I don't like them anyway !! Then doctors forget or whatever and said that I should get off the pills so I did for over two months ? And for over two months I could not eat without throwing it right back up and I did not go to the bathroom except for losing gas and towards the end of the nine or 10 weeks it was just dribbling out of my butt from gravity I guess ? I ended up going to the emergency room and they did a CAT scan and told me I was all swollen inside and sent me home and told me to eat after I told them everything I eat the last over two months I throw up but they told me to go home and eat !!!! I went back to pain management the next day and they put me back on pain medicine and I took a half a pain pill and within a half an hour I actually got an appetite and tried to eat something very small and I didn't throw it up , also right before that after taking the pain medicine my stomach made so much loud noise anyone in the room would've heard it and I felt so much movement in my stomach and my intestines ? The next day I woke up in pain at 6 AM and tried to go to the bathroom because you felt like I had to go and I walked around in circles and back-and-forth and did what I could for a half an hour and I couldn't go and I took the pain medicine and within 15 minutes I had the first normal poop I've had and weigh over two months !!! So now I think they cut my Vegas nerve in the surgery in 2005 !! That's when everything started to go downhill after that surgery ? So basically my stomach and intestine muscles do not work ? And the pain medicine actually activates the nerves and causes movement in the muscles which allows me to go to the bathroom somewhat ? In 2012 I was on them for a whole year because of Lyme disease ?? I worked eight and went to the bathroom no problem for the whole year because I was on pain medicine ? As soon as I was told I was clear with lime I got off the pills and my stomach and intestine muscles stopped working ? And now it's so bad I'm back on them but I get so sick when I even eat anything and every morning I vomit gooey glue be snotty crap that comes out of my stomach ? Even if I don't eat anything like I haven't flower for 10 days ? I'm just very hungry and living on water only ? The doctors won't listen and they keep telling me I'm OK ??? It just seems like the doctors all know about me and I get a little help when I see a new doctor for a couple of visits and then they ignore me and not answer my calls or call me back when I leave a message ? So basically they blow me off !!! Now I'm to the point where I don't know how I'm still alive without eating ? I have an eaten for 10 days and when I ate 10 days ago I didn't eat for a week before that ? And when I did eat a little bit I did 10 days ago I was very sick from just eating that for five or six days before it started to get a little tiny bit better but I'm still very sick and on able to do anything because my stomach area hurts all the time ? SO I think I am going to go to a different hospital not connected to any of the doctors I've seen by the next three days and go in there and hopefully get it made it and looked at by a doctor not in the group of doctors that I have been seeing for over 15 years ??

Sorry for delay in replying but I'm in the UK and your in the US, I see, so we have the time problem.

Wow, whatever you call it, you certainly have it bad. I'm not sure that any of us will be able to help with what you are going through but we will always listen to your rants, if you want to get it off your chest. I think what you said about trying a different hospital is probably the best idea and I hope you get some proper help there. I can't understand why they are being so unhelpful. Please let us know how you get on. I really hope you get some proper help this time. I really can't understand why they are not doing more for you.
