Yes I've had one, after a failed colonoscopy (I couldn't take the pain as I was having it without sedation because of certain problems) so they organised me to have a pneumocolon (virtual colonoscopy) you have to take the clean out prep the same as a colonoscopy the day before, when they do the procedure they do use a tube to introduce air but it is not painful just a little uncomfortable, it is a fairly simple procedure. With me they found I had diverticulitis, but no major concerns. So nothing to worry about

Thanks so much for replying. I couldn't have a colonoscopy either, too painful. I was a bit worried as it was so horrible but this sounds less painful. Thanks!
