Just needing some advice I’m 26 years old and about 1 week ago I started with slight abdominal pain and was bloated. When releasing gas it eased the pain and made me feel better. A couple of days later I was fine a little nausea but was eating and felt hungry. However since then I have felt weird feelings in my lower gut like spasms. I’m a massive hypochondriac and always think the worse. Can anyone help and ease this stress for me?

It could have simply been a little stomach upset which we all get from time to time
I am a lot older than you but have always been a worrier so know how you feel but you do have age on your side and even though you can get IBS when you are young the odds that it is anything more sinister are so low I would not be worrying
Maybe eat a light diet for a week , nothing spicy etc and see if that helps to calm things down
See how you go it could very well settle down and be just a one off but if it continues have a chat with your Doctor and see what they suggest

Did you make any changes in diet or medications? It does sound like you may be having intestinal spasms. Eat bland, non gaseous foods for a few days, and see if it clears.
I take IBGuard ,a peppermint oil capsule. It helps, but my intestines are really messed up! I hope this helps.
