Not being to personal but when i had piles i was given the usual treatment cream; however a good friend of mine suggested using wet wipes when going to the toilet along with changing my diet by removing bread, pasta and process food. This certainly worked for me, i hope this helps

Hi,

For piles , yes wet wipes are great. Buy Alum Crystals ( Amazon on Line). Put in a bottle mix with warm water in roughly 5 parts water to 1 part Alum. After a loo visit , soak a cotton ball in mixture and dab / hold on area and it should help shrink the piles .

Does not really stop the piles recurring but if used regularly it does help to relieve the problem. At least works for me.

Distilled Witch Hazel also works in similar manner but can make itching worse if used a lot. Maybe worth a try.

I have tried just about every ointment available and I would struggle to recommend any . They all help a bit and I do use them in conjunction with the Alum Crystal mixture but if the piles are becoming external after an episode of D --then I would say try the mixture,

Hope that helps
