I am struggling with IBD C and D, I have lots of wind and bloating, it started off as IBS C a long time ago and now appears to be both, sometimes alternating and sometimes at the same time. I can have pain on going to bed at night if eaten slightly the wrong thing, and still trying to find out what suits me! I am about to try Silica Gel for the first time, I ve tried alsorts; lavender and chamomile tablets, charcoal tablets fir wind (work a bit) Yoga, meditation and some therapies. I have a plain diet of salmon, rice or potatoes and veg (which o am careful with regarding the Fodmaps) not sure if cauliflower reacts with me. The Silica gel is arriving today, I ve heard it lines the stomach, however I think it’s mainly for IBS D and I have both! Do we will see....
