Anyone finding that the hot weather is making your IBS worse? It seems that anything I eat I then get symptoms! Any help and advice would be great already taking buscopan 3 times a day

Hi MeganRose (such a pretty name!!) :)

Try for one solid week to eat NO food (not one bite) of anything that has any kind of grain in it (except rice)...not just 'gluten free' foods... just veggies, fruit and meat plain (you can season it! :) ) See if this starts to make a difference... even Campbells soup has grain esp wheat in them... So even if you are not gluten intolerant...give this a try. Can't hurt! ALSO...be SURE.....to drink PLENTY of water...not just other liquids but plain ol' water. Good luck to you!!

Same, I didn’t think to blame the heat though. I’m back at the Doc this morning, as it’s driving me nuts. I drink gallons of water, and don’t eat grains, as I’m a Coeliac. I’m gonna discuss Fodmap Dieting with him and give that a try. More food deprivation, but hopefully it’ll be worth it x

Yes.

Ive had stomach problems

All week and had more or less

Got my ibs under control.

Just chronic stomach ache all time.

I drink loads of water and buscopan and peppermint oil cap but i think it just the weather.

Hopefully it will calm down when the weather calms down.
