After several days of tending very much towards constipation, today I have diarrhoea. I hadn`t eaten anything different but did have a large glass of diet tonic water last night. I now realise it contains acesulfame k and sucralose both of which apparantly have a laxative effect - so I won`t be drinking that again

I can't go anywhere near artificial sweeteners I think they are the work of the devil. I steer clear of anything low calorie, all bad imo. Hope you feel better soon.
Tonic water is also a muscle relaxant. A doctor who is a friend mentioned this to me once. In some countries, pregnant women are advised not to bring tonic water.
