Burning

Hi

I have burningbin my stomach, for a few weeks now. My doctor gave me ranitidine and peptic. It got much worse so doctor gave me fluconazole, he gave me this as we worked out my symptoms started after a course of antibiotics. I took a 7 day course of fluconazole, it did not help.

He then gave me laxido.

I am still getting burning which is more frequent and at times unbearable.

He said I will have to wait for a ultrasound and to see a gastroenterologist. There is a long waiting list. ( new doctor as I moved home)

I was with a gastro in 2015 till 2017, with tummy problems , after many ct scans endoscopy , 2 colonoscopies which we’re done in 2016. They said they could not find anything apart from a small cyst on my pancreas.

I was then told it must be IBS,

After changing my diet I am managing my IBS as best I can.

But this burning is getting me down, and I am very worried.

Julie I've had it for 3 years.had every year test known to man.I've got a thickening of the bowel wall apparently! But doesn't seem to be a cure.agony every single day😢😢

Oh , it’s not just me then.

Sorry you are suffering, did they not give you any meds? Or tell you how to cope with it?

I am so worried it is something else,

I was in so much pain last night.

Why does it burn so much.

Junie I've tried every meds under the sun.either they don't work or I am like a zombie! ! Still trying to work out MY way ofor dealing with it all😢😢hope you're OK. X
