So some of you might have read my post before but I’m just going through the mills at the moment. Work is very very stressful but I don’t like to think that has an impact on my stomach, I mean how on earth could that affect it. I’ve been having sleepless nights because I’m constantly googling, colon cancer, stomach cancer, ovarian cancer etc to come up with a reason I’m feeling like I am. The past two mornings I have woken up with popping, gurgling and lots of wind the followed by loose, mushy stools. I also get sulphur burps (eggy burps) when I wake up occasionally too. I just feel so depressed, I keep thinking maybe this is the onset of cancer and I am dying, maybe I’ve got an illness and will need lots of tests that I’m scared of. I’m just so down and can’t stop crying. Sorry to rant on

More than likely it's work stress that is making you feel like that.
Worst thing you can do is google symptoms as a lot of the things on there aren't written on official sites.
Make an appointment with your gp, write everything down you want to discuss and hopefully they can reassure you and make it clear to the receptionist it's urgent and insist you get an appointment if they try to obstruct you and you can lie if they ask what it's for if you don't want to discuss things with them!
Good luck.
Hi Kate8433
Anxiety and stress can make you sick! The more you worry, google and focus on how you feel, are going to feel, might feel and so forth the more it confirms that your mind is on it all the time. Believe me, anxiety can make you feel real physical sickness. When you hear people say “oh, it’s just anxiety” it’s true but if it were just so easy to “set” it aside none of us would have it, right? Easy for them to say. My stomach is a mess, I know it is from years and years of anxiety. As a child I was the nervous, non risk taker, scared child. Back then no one even used the word anxiety, no one heard of ADHD etc...... after years of anxiety, panic attacks and dealing with it on my own I know my gut took the brunt.
You have to retrain your brain, each time a negative thought creeps in you have to smile and think of something positive!!! Smile, it makes you feel better!!!
Thanks so much for your reply. Really appreciate it
