Hey, I'm new here and I was wondering how I can manage my bloating with ibs?
Has anyone managed to lose weight and get a somewhat flat stomach? I've been bloated for weeks, ongoing months and I'm starting to feel insecure about my stomach.
It'll be great to hear from you all!
Thanks!

I followed the fod map diet It has worked brilliantly for me ,although it takes some getting used to especially if you do not have help from a dietitian , but I have now A much better understanding of my trigger foods ,have lost weight and no bloating, or D. There is loads of info on line just look up --- fod map diet - and their web site is great and will answer any queries you may have .
Thanks, I'm currently following a low fodmap diet and have been for awhile but I'm still extremely bloated, it's made no difference. Maybe, I'll wait until I see a dietician but I eat a very clean low fodmap diet so I don't quite understand.
Thank you, I'll mention it to my doctor because I'm currently following a low fodmap diet but it only made a little, close to nothing difference. I'm always bloated its horrible, I look like I have a baby belly or something! I'm always bloated, it never changes and I'm always gassy I feel like my GP is just very slow when it comes to getting shit done.
Hi Jayne I understand you, I spent four years having test after test, spending a lot of money and seeing soo many specialist. I looked nine months pregnant with twins. It was crazy. Doctors and specialists all thought I had some form of cancer. Stomach, liver, overianetc. Only after I moved to Australia and went to a Digestive Disease Centre was I diagnosed it took 24 hours and I had an answer. I went on an antibiotic called Vancimycin for a period of time, it is designed for the gut only. Then 500 billion strength of probiotic and had a huge improvement but slowly it was worsening so I ended up having a faeces transplant. My husband being the donor. 🙈🙈🙈🙈 so what Dysbiosis is , is bad bacteria taking over your gut, fermenting every time you put ANY food or drink in there. Please don’t hesitate to contact me if needed. One other thing to ease your symptoms in the meantime don’t eat any form of carbs as the bad bacteria thrive on carbohydrates. 😀
