Has anyone been diagnosed with BAM after having their gallbladder out ? It seems to be getting worse and although I am now on the powders sometimes they work sometimes not !

Yes I have. Although it is 10 years since I had mine out and only started with daily diarrhoea 18 months ago apparently it can come on at any time after. I am taking Questran which does help but isn't perfect I still get diarrhoea at least once a week and have to take Imodium but that is better than every day. There is a supply issue with Questran just now and I am having to take the light one which isn't working as well I don't think and is truly awful to take.

Yes I’m having the same supply issue and the light one dose not work as well is awful to take it’s like wallpaper paste and gives me nausea after about an hour dose anyone know what the supply issue is and why ?

Anyone found a diet that helps ? Sometimes I think it’s animal fats that cause it sometimes it seems to be bread / wheat ?

Ok thank you not sure I know what an alkaline diet is but will look it up ... my dr is trying to help I may have to go back to the surgeon and see if he can suggest anything just a real challenge at the mo
