I have also had this and loose bowel movements. Just as for a few months i thought i had the ibs under a bit of control :( try getting your hands on metocloporamide. People swear by it. I have read people have had it when their famoly had a sickness bug and they didnt end up vomitting. If you are fine with vomit then its not a problem by i am a total emotophobe!

I am also an Emetophobe. What meds do people take to prevent or stop vomiting?

I take metocloporamide which I got from the dr. He was very good in giving it to me when i started getting investigated for ibs. I said how i sometimes feel sick and that i am so scared of being sick and how it really freaks me out. He just said ok dont worry we can sort that and then printed out the prescription and told me what it was. Well worth asking the dr about it

I have Emetophobia and am following the Thrive Programme, I've a way to go yet but have a look online, the results are amazing.

There is also someone on this forum that has worked through the programme and is so much better she isn't fearful anymore.
