Symptoms worse before menopause ?

Hi 👋 everyone was just wondering if anybody had worse symptoms in peri menopause. I’ve had flare up upon flare up recently 😩

I do think hormone fluctuations play a major role!

I agree with ibknox below in that homones can play a big part in IBS

Thanks for your replies probably the reason why my latest flare up isn’t letting up 😞

Menopause is horrible, some people escape symptoms where some don't. I have been going through it since I was 50 and am now 58. I started the peri-menopause when I was 45 but didn't really suffer much. One thing though, I will not take HRT. Might be worth you also having a look at alternative herbal medication if your symptoms get bad.

Might be worth you looking at your diet as well as that can have a huge impact.
