I have been on FODMAP 3.5 years and get gurgling on the left (descending colon), prior to D&V and feeling faint still if I eat something I would call "safe" but a larger portion. Such as, I limit my grapes in one sitting to 6, but I eat any more fruit I react. I think it will take a lifetime for me to determine my "safe" foods, still learning! Sorry I cannot help further.
Fodmap did not work for me im afraid not that it wont work for you.
I found giving up gluten, dairy and yeast worked for me.
I still have gurgling if i eat something i shouldnt have done by accident but i find if i take a probiotic or peppermint capsule it goes pretty quick.
I always make sure that when i eat i always drink a big glass of water after so it helps it descend the colon
thank you. Which probiotic you take ? I found peppermint capsules helpful too.But hoped with FODMAP they might not be needed.
It can take 8 weeks for the fodmap diet to work. Hopefully it will improve after a bit longer
It's normal for the bowel and stomach to make noises it's called peristalsis. It's the muscles contracting and moving to food along. I'd be worried if i heard nothing to be honest
