Aches

Most massage therapist do pregnancy massages that might help? Just a thought or you could be low on some vitamins. Are you eating healthy?
Codeine is a strong opioid and not good for baby and can cause constipation. Unless you have been diagnosed with ibs by a gp I'd say it's your body adjusting to your pregnancy. Lie on your side to help with your back and to prevent heartburn (this can happen as baby grows and presses on your stomach) and use stomach massage for the pain
Hi always get checked out with doctor or midwife for any pregnancy issues. Some aches and niggles are common in pregnancy. Have you had a discussion with your doctor about how to manage your IBS during pregnancy i.e. What meds are safe etc? Now your past first trimester some essential oils are safe when combined with a carrier oil. Ask someone to use this to massage your back if you are unable to reach. Soaking in a warm (not hot) bath can be relaxing. I wonder if the pains are trapped wind or constipation? Again would need to check what meds are safe in pregnancy, good luck x
