My first question would be are you drinking the tap water or having ice in your drinks. If so get bottled water and say no to ice. It could be as simple as that.

Hi you could of picked up a bug on your flight over. Drink plenty of bottled water and ask to see a doctor. Let your travel rep know too x

Buy some Imodium and take ONE tablet for your trip back to the UK. Read the instructions on the back or check with the chemist before treating your daughter with it. Buy some Rehydrat sachets and SIP the drink slowly. It will help with all the salts you have lost over the last few days. IF the symptoms persist when you get back to the UK, you MUST go and see your doctor and tell them you have been away in Turkey. Hope this helps.

All the best, Angus

Hi,

Its very rare to go abroad and NOT get a dicky tummy in my experience! Change of water and food often does it. Drink only bottled water - Ice included must be bottled. Salads and fruit are washed in water, Brush your teeth too with only bottled water. As Angusross said - Imodium for the trip home.

Hope you are both OK.

Do not drink any water on an airplane that does not come out of a bottle you open. Not the coffee, not the tea either. The water tanks on airplanes are natorious for not being cleaned, or cleaned properly and E Coli has been found in many, it's not just one airline, it's all of them. I don't have the actual study, but I did read it. They did tests years back and found a great number of planes water supply contaminated with E Coli, they reprimanded them and told them to clean up their acts! They redid the study only a year later and most of them were still contaminated. Even the flight crew don't drink it cause they know.

Also don't eat unpeeled fruit as it was likely washed in contaminated water, eat things you can peel, like banana or oranges. Use bottled water to brush teeth also.

please when you get home go right to the doctors and get checked out.
