Would ibs cause me to feel like l am burning up inside my body l feel so unwell

Hello there sorry to hear u are feeling very unwell. Its hard to say if this could be ibs without knowing if ur having any other symptoms or symptom history. I do have flare ups when i run a temperature and i feel as if im burning inside from the waist up but usually this is an acid build up for me amd is accompanied by the dreaded D. I refuse to go on acid supressants such as ranitidine ompeprazole etc so i just dose on gaviscon for a couple of days eat a bland diet for a couple of days and it seems to slowly help me out of it. Xx

I'm so sorry you are feeling so unwell. I've never had that symptom but have you been to your GP about it?
