Natural Calm magnesium. By natural vitality. It's a powder I order the raspberry lemon flavor. Tastes good. Get it on Amazon. I live in USA. It works great for me.

Hi there Nanny, I live in the UK so have just been on the internet and looked up what you have suggested above - the reviews are amazing. I see that the tub I was looking at, the flavour you have mentioned above, is a 454gm size but doesn't say how much you need to take, are you able to let me know what the dosage is and how long a tub lasts you?

Thank you

Hi I take 2 heaping teaspoons when I need it. I'm usually constipated but I try eating lots of fruits and veggies to help. I usually take about twice a week. It's a pretty large jar so lasts a while. It usually works for me in a couple hours time.

Aloe Vera products from Holland and Barrett. I like the juice, and also the aloe colon cleanse tablets which are convenient for when travelling.

Psyllium husk - 1 teaspoon stirred briskly in a glass of water at night. You can also sprinkle on cereal in the morning.

Get husk not powder or capsules.

It softens and bulks up the stools.

Drink plenty of water.

Hope this helps. It works for me.

My GP has prescribed Movicol but I prefer natural help. Magnesium and zinc are also helpful in relaxing the gut.

Fennel Tea. Works so well. Has lots of benefits for the body but is great for stimulating the digestive muscles to get everything going. Best part is that it's completely natural.
