Suffering for weeks with spasms and cramps in lower abdo. Had colonoscopy month ago ......diverticula and he removed polyp. No huge concern re polyp will do another C in about 12 months. My problem is that the cramping don't es not ease up even after BM of which there are many ! Could the s be Diverticulitis acting up...pain in lower left abdo. Should I be taking an antibiotic ? Could it be an infection. Help please.....have holiday in a couple weeks.

Hi if it's diverticulitis then you will need antibiotics or steroids that is what my specialist put me on and it cleared it all up. I have suffered with diverticulitis for many years now and the pain in the left hand side can be really sore also the cramping that maybe something else. I also have ulcerated colitis and I get cramping with that and they can treat that with different medications.

You really need to get your gp to give you a referral to a specialist and they can get this under control. I truly wish you well and take good care of yourself. Jan101 🤗🤗🌸🌹🌷🌺xxxx
